For the first time this season, we have Enterprise Apples from Sunnycrest Farms in Sterling, Massachusetts! This excellent variety grown in the Northeast is one of the parent varieties for the now-popular Honeycrisp AND newly-available Cosmic Crisp apples! Originally grown in Upstate New York, Tony Russo purchased Enterprise apples from Fowler Farm when the apple didn’t even have a name! “Back then, it was a numbered variety,” said Tony. “When it was named Enterprise, then it because more popular - which killed the availability for us!” That was more than 20 years ago. Today, we receive our Enterprises from Bill Broderick of Sunnycrest Farm and we are so pleased to have them from Massachusetts! These excellent, very crisp, sweet apples will be available for the next several months at Russo’s!
